Conference “Investment climate – development of the geological services market in Poland”

In October 2025, we actively participated in the conference organized by the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute, “Investment Climate – Development of the Geological Services Market in Poland”

During both events, many speakers and panelists emphasized the need for seismic surveys before deep geothermal drilling. Such studies, representing only a small fraction of the overall project cost, could:

· Significantly reduce the risk of drilling a dry well,

· Provide key information needed to plan a future injection well and the entire doublet so that the injection well reaches the same aquifer without causing cooling of the production well,

· Enrich the geological knowledge accumulated in the CBDG, supporting both the activities of the Polish Geological Institute and the development of knowledge about national resources.
