Modern river embankment protection in Ukraine

At a meeting in March at the State Water Resources Agency of Ukraine, we presented an innovative method of strengthening dams and embankments, which allows deep compaction of their base without the need for demolition (dismantling)! This meeting, a continuation of the recently started cooperation with Ukrainian partners, was attended by representatives of the Centre for European Integration and the Dniester River Basin Council, among others.

Our proposed process for protecting river embankments consists of 4 stages – from geological investigations, laboratory analyses, to specialized soil compaction and final verification.
The technology is based on precise vibrations adapted to the type of embankment.

The result? Effective and rapid protection of river embankments – without costly and time-consuming embankment demolition work.

The meeting ended with the decision to continue the cooperation. Next steps ahead for safe water infrastructure!
