Subject: Geophysical investigations in GPR and MASW version at Brown Coal Mine in the Łódż Voivodeship
The aim of the work was the location of potential zones of coal seam loosening into the sands immediately below, caused by hydraulic phenomena. We used GPR and seismic, obtaining interpretable measurement range for GPR method to 8.0 m, while to 15.0 m for the seismic method. Data interpretation delineated anomalous zone indicating the potential occurrence of adverse effects on the border of the coal seam and sands directly below it.
