Subject: Gravimetric and magnetotelluric surveys for a complete and detailed diagnosis of the geological structure within the lower Paleozoic tracks in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, Poland.
The study aimed to develop a new geological model for the potential occurrence of unconventional hydrocarbon deposits. We have made dozens of magnetotelluric soundings (MT/AMT) and several thousand gravity points. Development of field data resulted in a set of gravimetric maps showing rock masses’ density distribution and geoelectrical sections based on the 2D inversion of magnetotelluric sounding curves.
