Subject: Gravimetric and magnetotelluric surveys for a complete and detailed diagnosis of the geological structure within the lower Paleozoic tracks in the Masovian Voivodeship – Poland.
The aim of the study was to develop a new geological model in the potential area of occurrence of unconventional hydrocarbon deposits. We have made dozens of magnetotelluric soundings (MT/AMT) and several thousand gravity points. Development of field data resulted in a set of gravimetric maps showing rock masses density distribution and geoelectrical sections based on the 2D inversion of magnetotelluric sounding curves.
