Well logging in granite mine

At the end of February 2025, we had the pleasure of carrying out an order for one of the large granite mines in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. As part of the work, we conducted geophysical research in boreholes, providing valuable information about the geological structure of the deposit.

Our activities included:

  • borehole measurements with the HRAT acoustic scanner in three boreholes in the deposit area,
  • processing, analysis, and interpretation of measurement data.

Why Well-logging?

This method is a natural extension of our geophysical research offer. It allows for quick and relatively cheap acquisition of data on drilled rocks, their physical parameters (porosity, permeability), lithological profile or tectonic structure. With modern equipment, such as the HRAT scanner from ROBERTSON GEO, and relying on our team’s experience, we can perform precise research in both cased and uncased holes.

Thanks to this type of measurement, mines can properly plan the exploitation of deposits and optimize their activities. We are glad that we were able to support another Client in obtaining detailed data on the geological structure of the area!
