The main goal of the geophysical surveys set by the Customer was to identify the geological structure, including the nature of the roof of the Devonian limestone deposit.
For this purpose, geoelectrical surveys were carried out which allowed the interpretation of horizontal and vertical changes of resistance (conductivity) of the ground medium. The interpretation of resistance distribution anomaly allowed us to identify lithium-stratigraphic complexes.
The work carried out was of a test nature. They determined the suitability of the electrical resistivity tomography ERT method for mapping the limestone roof in the presence of a complex geological structure of the overburden.
